Bonnie Gennosa Wegrzyn, 71, of Christiansburg, passed peacefully in her home and joined the Lord on February 3, 2022. She graduated from Plainedge High School on June 22, 1969.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, Michael Joseph Gennosa; mother, Mildred France Calandra; brother, Steven Joseph Gennosa; and husband, Jon Kazimaz Wegrzyn. She is survived by her son, Jon Jay Wegrzyn (Lisa O’Dell); daughter, Jamie Marie Moore (Robert Lucas Moore); siblings, Michael Gennosa and Janet Schack; grandchildren, Michael Jonathan Wegrzyn, Mariah Nichole Wegrzyn, Kyla Marie Moore, Oliver Lucas Moore; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many loving and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, from 1-2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel.
