BOYD, BONNIE GAYE, age 59, of Christiansburg, passed away Monday, August 28, 2006 in a Richmond Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Blanche Boyd. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Bill and Ronnie Smith of Richmond; brother, Richard A. Boyd of Maryland; nieces and nephews, Enna Fairchild, Kevin & Denise Malley, Susan Duncan, and Rebecca Boyd; special aunts, Mildred Lane, Marie Jackson, and Ivy Eanes; numerous cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 31, 2006 at Belmont Christian Church with Pastor Jim Bayne officiating. Interment will follow in Belmont Cemetery. The Boyd Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, 382-2612.
