Betty Davis

DAVIS, Betty Jean, of Christiansburg died Thursday, May 10, 2007 at Pulaski Community Hospital.

Betty was a registered nurse for over 40 years working at the Memorial Hospital of Salem in N.J., and also Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Peggy Fesmier. She is survived by her daughter and fianc?; Teresa Davis and David Strathy of Christiansburg, son; David Davis of Sterling, VA, daughter and son-in-law; Debora and Justin Farley of Shawsville. Her granddaughters Rachel Davis of Christiansburg, Madison Farley of Shawsville, brother and sister-in-law; Robert and Sarah Fesmier of Phoenix, AZ, brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Edward and Carol Davis of North Carolina also survive her.

Friends may call anytime Monday, May 14th 2007 at The Horne Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 4 – 6 p.m. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society 9 East Church Ave, Roanoke, VA 24011.
