RICHARDS, BEATRICE TURNER, 93, of Christiansburg, departed this life on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg, VA.
She was predeceased by her parents Dexter S. Turner and Innis Sweeney Turner Martin; her brothers, Frederick N. Turner and D. Randolph Turner; her sister, Lois Turner McArthur.
Her survivors include one sister, Marguerite Turner Snidow; nieces, Betty Turner Alcox, Carolyn M. Painter, Rebecca M. Cox, Leigh P. Roderer, Debra P. McKinney; nephew, Allen D. Turner and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 10 at the Horne Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael D. Cox, great nephew, and Pastor Gary Long, Main Street Baptist Associate Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the charity of your choice or to the Main Street Baptist Church, (of which she was a lifetime member) Building Fund. The Richards Family is being served by Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
