Ellison, Beatrice Pugh, 82, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2010. She was born February 5, 1928 in Roanoke, VA to the late Nicholas and Mary Pugh.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Nicholas William Pugh, Jr. and Robert Beverly Pugh; and sisters, Ann Pugh Mohler and Mary Jean Pugh Miller.
She was a 1950 graduate of Roanoke College.
She is survived by her husband, Glen D. Ellison; daughter and son-in-law, Laura E. and William Kelly Studebaker; son and daughter-in-law Michael G. and Sheila Ellison; step-grandchildren, Drew and Regan; half brothers, Tyler Pugh and Charles Lee Pugh; sister-in-law, Maxine Ellison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 18, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Rev. Don Peters and Rev. Jerry Hylton officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park, Roanoke, VA.
