Barbara Mills

Mills, Barbara Wood, of Shawsville, age 68, went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ never to suffer again. Barbara was beautiful on the inside and out. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Family was especially important to Barbara. She was also an active member of the Cambria Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Thomas Wood and Ora Yopp Wood, and brother, Arthur Wood. She is survived by her husband, Hobert L. Mills, Sr.; children, Regina M. Martin and spouse, Richard A. Martin, and Hobert L. Mills, Jr. and spouse, Nancy H. Mills; grandchildren, Henry Lee Mills, Kyle Brandon Mills, Ryan Thomas Martin, and Charles Lester Mills; brothers and sisters, Gene Wood and spouse Mary, Lilly Blankenship, and Mattie McGuyer; and sister-in-law, Edna Wood. Many, many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and church family she loved dearly.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 21 at the Cambria Pentecostal Holiness Church. A funeral service will be held on at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Cambria Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Jerry Shepherd and Pastor Jube Burk.

Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg, VA.
