BOWER, Ardis Hollandsworth, 82 of Christiansburg passed away Saturday, January 19, 2008 at her home. The daughter to the late Kyle Hollandsworth and Rosa Hollandsworth. She was also preceded in death by her husband; Paul T. Bower.
She is survived by her sisters-in-law; Ruth Ellis and Mary Bower, many nieces, nephew, great nieces and great nephews. Also surviving are a special cousin; Becky Smith, special nephew; Jimmy Bower and special friends; Chris and Amanda Sheppard. Mrs. Bower enjoyed square dancing, camping and traveling with her family and friends.
Friends may call anytime after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Horne Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2008. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2008 in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Neal Turner officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
