Arden Howell IV

Arden Howell IV, 69 of Christiansburg, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017. He was born November 18, 1947 in North Carolina. The family moved to Staton Island, NY and then to Silver Spring, Maryland where he grew up, and lived in the metro area until he moved Southwest Virginia twenty years ago.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arden Howell, Jr.; mother, Grace Elizabeth Howell Sutton. He is survived by his sister, Grace Elizabeth (Taffy) Howell of Silver Springs, Maryland; brother and sister-in-law, Charles Stephen (Charlie) and Dorothy (Dee) Dolores Howell; his daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Mike; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arden is also survived by close friends, Mehran Heravi, Melissa Harrison, Roger and Tammy Carpenter, David and Betty Moore, Patricia (Patty) Howell Marsh, Patricia (Pat) Somerville. His beloved cats, Oliver and Stone also survive him.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Carilion Hospice Office location, 701 Randolph Ave., Radford, VA 24141.
