Alvin Bennie Lawson, 74, of Elliston, VA formerly of Draper, NC passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015.

Alvin is survived by his son Brandon Lawson; daughters, Kim Hanna and Leslie and Scott English; grandchildren, Tonya Fields, Tara Cribb, Devin Lawson, Summer English, Autumn English, Zane Lawson, Grady English; great-grandchildren, Braden Hayden and Dalton Cribb; sisters, Louise Trollinger and Elaine Lawson.

Bennie enjoyed spending his time riding his trike and hanging out with friends.

The Visitation will be on Sunday, November 15, from 3-5 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Mathew Kirkland officiating. Private internment will follow at the Lawson Family Cemetery, Elliston.
