Alvin Wade Furrow, Jr., 51, of Elliston, VA, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2011. He was born in Montgomery County, VA on October 22, 1959. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin W. Furrow and sister, Pamela R. Price.
He is survived by his mother, Loretta W. Furrow of Elliston; sisters, Sandra Akers and husband Dennis of Salem, VA and Tammy Walters and husband Jeff of Elliston, VA; brother, Ricky Furrow of Elliston, VA; several nieces , nephews, other family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 27, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Horne Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 11:00 am at Gayhearts Cemetery in Elliston, VA with Pastor Dusty Etter officiating.
