LINKOUS, Almeda Lorraine 47 of Pilot went to be with the Lord, Monday, August 9, 2010.
Almeda was a loving daughter, wife, mother and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her father; Lee C. Hale, and grandparents; Gordon & Roenie Alderman and Roy & Almeda Hale.
She is survived by her husband; Ricky G. Linkous, sons; Ricky Lee Linkous and Travis Linkous, her mother; Rachel Hale, mother-in-law; Jane Gordon, special friend; Burdis Barker. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends also survive.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 12, 2010 at The Horne Funeral Home from 5 – 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2010 at Abundant Life Church, Pilot, VA with Pastor Kenneth Kingrea officiating. Interment will follow in Huffville Cemetery, Floyd.
