HARRIS, ALMA GAY, age 88, of Christiansburg, passed away Monday, January 16, 2006 at New River Valley Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late, Wyatt Lee and Mamie Akers Harris. She is survived by her brother, Marvin T. Harris and wife, Evelyn; nephew, Kevin Harris and wife, Susan and great nieces, Emily and Lyndsay; her sister, Lessie Smith, nephew, Harold Smith, nieces, Rebecca Smith and Norma Lee Bobbitt and husband, Frank; and great nephew, Michael.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The Harris Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
