Alfred Otis Sutphin (Otis), 82, of Shawsville, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012.
He was son to the late Arnold Lee & Julia Gibson Sutphin. He was also preceded in death by his son, David Neal Sutphin; sisters, Ozie Sutphin, Eva Sue Quesenberry and Mozelle Day.
Otis is survived by his wife, Jackie Sutphin; son, Ricky Sutphin (Janet); grandchildren, Brittany, Matthew, and Ashley Sutphin; sister, Mildred Necessary (Clyde); and special friends, J.D. & Paulette Lambert. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 4, 2012, from 5-7 pm at Horne Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7 pm in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Michael D. Copeland officiating.
