Agnes Sophronia Furrow Huff, 91, of Barboursville, VA, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013.
She was born to the late Rev. Jesse and Stella Wiggins Furrow. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Roy S. Huff; and siblings, Margie Hawks, Dorothy Sparks, Junior Furrow, and Rev. Ray Furrow.
She is survived by her sons, Rev. Kenneth Huff, Malvin Huff, and Rev. Garry Huff; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; 1 expected great-grandson; and siblings, Toby Furrow, Malcolm Furrow, Larry Furrow, Clifton Furrow, Paul Furrow, Ruth Atkinson, and Velma Gilliam.
Agnes not only took great care of her family, but was a great minister’s helper to her husband, and sacrificed much to allow her husband do what he loved, being a dedicated minister. Her ministry and love will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 11, 2013, from 3-5 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 12th at 11 a.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dale Huff officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
