MARTIN, ADDIE G., age 81 of Riner, VA left her earthly home Friday, Sept. 30, 2011 to be with the Lord and her loved ones.
The daughter of the late Bessie J. and Clyde Guver she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ambrose Martin, a granddaughter Priscilla A. Keith and her brother, Charles Gruver.
She was a retired employee of the Montgomery Count Treasurer”s Office with over twenty-five years of service.
Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Charlotte Martin; granddaughters, Crystal Keith and special friend, Larry and her son, Travis Williams; Stacy Tuck & husband, Duane and their son, Isaiah; sister, Clara Orr, Gallup, NM; sister-in-law, Hazel Corrnett & husband, Ed; brother-in-law, Eugene Martin; special nephews, Calvin Gruver, Kansas, David Yopp & wife, Diana, Larry Gruver & Chuck Gruver, Several other special nieces, nephews, cousins, loving friends, neighbors and extended family.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Dan Kelly, Gentiva Hospice, Good Samaritan Hospice and the Riner Rescue Squad and Riner Fire Department for all you have done. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Sunday evening at the Horne Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m Monday, Oct. 3, in the Horne Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ellis D. Meredith officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
