Jennifer Hicks Lang

August 10, 1973 — July 31, 2022

Jennifer Hicks Lang, 48, of Blacksburg, VA passed away on July 31, 2022. She was born to the late Paul Henry Hicks, Jr. and Mary Jane Marshall Hicks.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Hicks; brother-in-law, Randy Fisher; father-in-law, Samuel Harrison Lang, Sr.; mother-in-law, Joyce Ann Lang.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Samuel Lang, Jr.; children, Aimee Simmons, Katelyn Jenkins, and Stephanie Jenkins; siblings, Alex Hicks and Aimee Fisher and her fiance, Matthew Keffer; nephew, Joseph Paul William Fisher; niece, Summer Mary-Anne Fisher; cousins, Chrystal Hicks Forester, Gail James, Robbie Hicks, Becky Stacy and Tammy Sicilian.
Jennifer was loved by many and will be deeply missed by many. She loved coloring and had just started collecting Mini Brands. She was a joy to be around and loved her family.
The family would like to express their thanks to the nurses and staff of the ICU at Lewis Gale Montgomery Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 12-1 at Horne Funeral Home with funeral services to follow in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
