Rexie Jackson Caldwell

Caldwell, Rexie Jackson, 76 of Pulaski, Va, known by his CB handle as “Fire Fly”, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Rexie was born in Montgomery Co. on June 2, 1940 to the late Eldrich Davis and Stella Caldwell. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Toby Dawn Whitlock Caldwell; brothers; William, Percy ,Roscoe,Freddie, Harry, Herman ,and Jerry, and sisters; Gracie Caldwell and Ruby Long; Rexie is survived by his children; ,Reggie Caldwell of Blacksburg, Regina Wright of Blacksburg, and Randall Caldwell of Christiansburg; grandchildren; Brian and Jen Caldwell ;great grandchild, Bryce; Stepchildren, Becky Cromer, Danny Cromer, Albert and Angel Cromer, Matthew Cromer, Jimmy Whitlock; step grandchildren: Jakob Brinkley and Skyy Brinkley; Sisters: Pauline Smith (Fred), Dolly and Ivan(Sue) Caldwell; special niece, Lisa Long and fiancée Maurice Dooley; and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Horne Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. A Memorial service will be on Sunday March 5, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Ed Simmons officiating, Visitation will be one hour prior to the Memorial Service.
