Paul Harris, 79, of Christiansburg, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018.
Paul worked at VPI for 17 years and was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Maude Harris; granddaughter, Sarah Colley; as well as many brothers and sisters. Paul is survived by his devoted wife, Phyllis; daughters, Teresa Jones and husband Tim, and Kathy Colley and husband Gregory; grandchildren, Paul Jones Jr., Michael Jones, Brandon Teany, Travis Colley, Dylan Colley, and Krista Colley; great-grandchildren, Morgan Jones, Christa Jones, Jade Jones, Michael Jones, Damien Summers, Haley Kelly, and Lane Colley; sisters, Dottie Foster and husband Lynwood, and Bernice Albert; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 10, 2018, from 5-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jerry Gibson and Pastor Brian Strouf officiating. Interment will follow in Indian Creek Cemetery, Floyd County.
