Eugene Smith of Christiansburg, went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2017, at the age of 86.
Leaving behind his wife of 68 years, Mamie Clyde Smith of Christiansburg; three sons and daughters-in-law, Stoney and Debbie Smith of Christiansburg, John and Shara Smith of Salem, and Darrell Smith of Christiansburg; four daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Donnie Sower of Christiansburg, Connie and Steve Bailey of Narrows, Sarah and Jimmy Jones of Check, and Missi and Mike Sutphin of Winston-Salem, NC; as well as seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
He will be very missed by all of his family and friends. At his request there will be no service.
